Coffee Morning with Book Sale for Claire House.
Further to the Oxfam Reading Challenge,
There is a coffee morning and book sale on 16th March 10.30-12.30 pm at Emmanuel church. An opportunity to chat, eat cake, raise money for Claire House and stock up on second hand books, what more could anyone want from a Saturday ???
The Eco group suggests why not try Oxfam’s Reading Challenge? The aim is to diversify reading by trying a different genre every month, whilst also encouraging sustainability by buying books from Oxfam or other provider of second hand books (might be closer to home than you think ? ). You can choose the months you’d like to take part and if you register online there is 10% discount on books purchased from Oxfam. Full details can be online at onlineshop.oxfam.org.uk/reading-challenge .
