Great news! Both St James and Emmanuel Churches have achieved the 'A Rocha' Silver ECO Church award. The assessments are based upon 5 categories: Worship and teaching, Buildings, Land, Community & global engagement and Lifestyle. Efforts have been directed over the last year to improving our scores by switching to green energy tariffs, holding an ECO event (with guest speakers + appropriate stalls), improving energy efficiency wherever possible and participating in community litter picks.
