On Thursday 8th May we will be commemorating as a nation that it will be 80 years since the cessation of hostilities in Europe. There will be a midweek eucharist at Emmanuel at 10am as usual on that day and Rev Heather will also be involved in two further services.
11am at Wallasey War Memorial
3pm at Fort Perch Rock with Italy Star
At the recent Parish Development Group meeting, it was decided to make the service on Sunday 11th May a joint eucharistic service at Emmanuel starting at 10am. This will commemorate VE day for the whole parish.
