So much to be grateful for! Thanks to all those who supported the opt out Christmas card at Emmanuel so beautifully designed by Rev Marcus. This raised £162 for the Unicef appeal for children in Sudan. Thanks also to those who have donated via yellow envelope in response to Ron's appeal - over £1500 has already been raised to assist in the cost of repairs to Emmanuel (this appeal is ongoing). Donations to the Reverse Advent Calendar were gratefully received by Wirral Foodbank who saw an increase in clients over the Christmas period. Finally, if you have saved the stamps from Christmas cards and letters that may have arrived over the festive period please bring these to church, they will be passed on to the RNIB soon.
