On Friday 23rd October 6.30pm, Rev Heather’s former music group from her previous parish have kindly offered to come all the way from Huddersfield and lead us in a contemporary praise service which I’m going to call The Goodness of God. It was Allyson Brown’s choice of hymn which we will sing at their renewal of wedding vows in the service on the 3rd October. Pete on guitar, Saz on drums, Faith and Geann on vocals have been specially learning this worship song.
It will be a different way of worshiping than some of you will be used to but I can give you the play list so you can familiarise yourself with anything new to you. It’s open to anyone, friends, neighbours, Churches Together, The Deanery. Please can you give your support and bless them as they want to bless us, even if it’s not what you are used to. They will sing Be Thou My Vision and Bless the Lord O my soul in and amongst- ones we do know as well as worship songs which will be new to us. Thank you
