It was a pleasure to welcome a party of 17 visitors from Germany to St James' on September 18. The group, from Frankfurt, were on a study tour of the area. The visit was arranged by the Wirral Tourism Office. Our guests were given a tour of the church by Richard Wilberforce, and of the Heritage Centre by Shirley Ashton. It concluded with a short talk in German by Hans Hille, which was really appreciated! Then off they went for a walk round New Brighton on a beautiful afternoon.
