Ideas for Lent
For Lent Some have opted to do the 5 week course is based on the book “ Live Lent: God’s story, Our Story” by Stephen Hance. This is available to buy from various sources for £1.97 plus postage or you can download the free app from the Church of England website to which gives daily reflections. You can also sign up to receive daily emails from the Church of England website.

This way we can all do the Lent journey together even though we are apart.
Also during Lent, rather than give something up how about taking something on:-
Diocese of Chester’s Lenten Journey: A practical way to observe Lent could be to sign up for the Diocese of Chester’s Lenten Journey following the 40 daily reflections on God’s Word and God’s World. It also suggests 7 mini challenges to take throughout Lent. This provides a practical way to do Lent and blesses the environment. It starts on Ash Wednesday. See for more details:-
