A new exhibition in the St James’ display area gives an insight into what a “big Religious Education Day” looks like for primary school pupils in Wirral. Helen Jones, who sings in the choir at St James and who also leads Mustard Seeds, is the activities co-ordinator for Learn, Teach, Lead in RE (lrlre). On October 12 Helen organised an event in St James’ in which ten local primary schools came together to share an inter-faith and inter-schools workshop based on the picture book Hats Of Faith. Guests included the Mayor, representatives of different faith traditions and community groups.
